POTS OF PUROPOSE

I have always been interested in three- dimensional art. I previously worked with silver and glass, but fell in love with pottery because it is a much more responsive medium. It is both plastic (when unfired) and rigid (when fired). It can be shaped, altered, cut, pierced, and painted.

Every piece is I make is unique, and I am always experimenting. Sometimes I repeat a piece to try to perfect shape or glaze, but I also like to explore the infinite number of new shapes,  techniques and glaze applications in the ceramic world.

My ultimate goal is to create pieces which are beautiful to look at but also a joy to use. I hope you enjoy the work on display in these pages. Please drop a line!
